In her blog she wrote:
“Edmonton showed me they weren’t feeling their chairs by standing thick in the maxed out seated theatre for my hour and 15 minutes of electro pulsations.”
And I attribute this 100% to Paul. He stood up in the very front row when everyone else was sitting and thus EVERYONE had to stand up because of him. Lulzy.
And then she wrote:
“I wanted to add that it’s been an extreme privilege to meet the people in real life I’ve seen supporting me online.”
Which was obviously due to me. Why? Background story. First, this happened on Twitter:
Lights: ps: “lol” looks like a little man cheering.
Mitch: @lights and here’s an audience cheering: lololololol
And then Lights enjoyed the joke so much that she retweeted it and soon afterwards there were soooo many more of her 50,000 followers retweeting it too (annoyed the shit out of me actually). There were even signs at the concert that said ‘lolololol’. After the show when we met her, I told her that I was the guy who made that joke and she was like “OH THAT WAS YOU!”. Hence her blog entry just now.
