Morpheus Lady Misses LIGHTS, MisterGaGa Apologizes

Check out our new concert review/vlog for LIGHTS’ concert in Edmonton last night. The show was awesome (as is the usual for her shows) This is the third time Paul has seen her, the second time for Mitch and first time for Carly (who joined us as well). Unfortunately Paul did not dress up accordingly as was previously promised, so there were no elderly morpheus midriff ladies in attendance that night, at least none that we saw. However, an excellent time was had by all, and Paul explained that it isn’t easy to get a long leather coat on such short notice. Watch the vid to see how the show was and all the other ridiculousness that went down!

So I guess we know what Paul is wearing to Lights on Monday
LIGHTS: Walking beside an elderly woman wearing a long leather coat, track pants, Morpheus shades and a midriff top. That's me in 50 years.
PAUL: @lights what would you do if I showed up to your Edmonton concert in said old-lady-morpheus outfit? (front row, obvs)
LIGHTS: @PaulPsychotic I would very much be into that. I can't stop thinking about her.
PAUL: @lights be careful what you wish for...
Lights’ Bloggin’ Blog

In her blog she wrote:

“Edmonton showed me they weren’t feeling their chairs by standing thick in the maxed out seated theatre for my hour and 15 minutes of electro pulsations.”

And I attribute this 100% to Paul. He stood up in the very front row when everyone else was sitting and thus EVERYONE had to stand up because of him. Lulzy.

And then she wrote:

“I wanted to add that it’s been an extreme privilege to meet the people in real life I’ve seen supporting me online.”

Which was obviously due to me. Why? Background story. First, this happened on Twitter:

Lights: ps: “lol” looks like a little man cheering.

Mitch: @lights and here’s an audience cheering: lololololol

And then Lights enjoyed the joke so much that she retweeted it and soon afterwards there were soooo many more of her 50,000 followers retweeting it too (annoyed the shit out of me actually). There were even signs at the concert that said ‘lolololol’. After the show when we met her, I told her that I was the guy who made that joke and she was like “OH THAT WAS YOU!”. Hence her blog entry just now.

With Lights after her show in Edmonton. She was SOOO nice and friendly with us. We considered following her to Red Deer the next day to see her again, she was THAT good. Unfortunately we couldn’t.

We love her very very much.

Without Lights this world would be very dark… I think I’m funny but I’m not.
